La Leona Arts is an arts organization, founded by Sadee Brathwaite, dedicated to promoting and supporting the Arts through various creative initiatives. Founded in 2007 La Leona Arts has collaborated with other arts organizations and galleries within the Hudson Valley and beyond to create and build a global arts network.
100 Artists/ 100 Dreams is a dream exploration project, curated by Sadee Brathwaite, that features national and international artists, and explores the concept of artists as visionaries and keepers of the creative fires. The project consists of a film, an exhibition, and an installation. Visual Artists, Performers and Musicians discuss one of three dream types: recurring dreams, prophetic dreams or dreams that have impacted them creatively. By focusing on the dreams of artists the project investigates what these dreams say about their lives, their communities and the world.
